Liberal Judaism was proud to be present at the Downing Street protest against President Donald Trumps new travel laws yesterday evening, alongside our youth movement LJY-Netzer and many others.

Our senior rabbi and chief executive, Rabbi Danny Rich, spoke at the event saying: “No to stereotypes; yes to treating people as individuals. No to closing legal routes; yes to opening our hearts and homes. No to refusing to help shattered lives; yes to offering shelter. For you know the heart of a stranger.”

The BBC reported that several thousand people were present at the protest.
