Rabbi Dr Jackie Tabick (born 1948) has the distinction not only of being the first woman rabbi ordained in this country, but also the only living person in this first series of Progressive Pioneers.
Quiet and unassuming she may be, but her influence has been extensive and her work in education and in interfaith has left its mark, not only here, but across the world.
Rabbi Jackie Tabick will tell her life story in an interview with Rabbi Sybil Sheridan, explaining her motivation, her successes and the many obstacles she encountered on the way.
