JW3 has turned its iconic bridge into a Lovelock Hostage Bridge so that everyone can add their messages of support for the 136 people still being held by Hamas in Gaza.
The bridge officially launches with an event at 2.30pm on Sunday 11 February and is then open from 10am-10pm every Sunday-Thursday.
JW3 CEO Raymond Simonson said: “Starting with 136 padlocks, each with the name of one of the current hostages, plus a couple of dozen locks signed by high profile figures, we are inviting everyone to show your love and support for the hostages by adding your own padlock.
“Either bring a padlock or lock one up from JW3 Box Office, draw a heart, scribble a message or sign your name, address it to the bridge and share photos and video widely on social media with the hashtags #LovelockHostageBridge and #BringThemHomeNow.”
JW3 is the Jewish community, culture and arts centre, based in Finchley. Those visiting will also be able to make a donation to the Hostage and Missing Families Forum.
