As well as the events taking place in Liberal and Reform Judaism communities across the country on Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD), Progressive Jews are also invited to watch the official national event.

The Holocaust Memorial Day 2024 UK Ceremony: Curated Moments will be broadcast on the internet this Saturday (27 January) at 7.30pm.

This will be followed by the national Light the Darkness Moment at 8pm, when people of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to light a candle in memory of the 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust and the millions of people killed under Nazi persecution and in other genocides.
