Liberal Judaism is marking Israel turning 75 by asking you, our members, to write a letter to Israel.
Our goal is to receive 75 letters from Liberal Jews of all ages. It can take the form of a poem or a piece of prose. Its contents are entirely down to you with the freedom to focus on whatever aspect(s) of Israel you wish.

On Yom Ha’atzmaut (Tuesday 25 April 2023), the day Israel turns 75, we will be hosting an event at 7pm via Zoom at which some of these letters will be read out. The evening will also include a live performance from Jerusalem-born theatre maker and musician Avital Raz.

- Letters are limited to 300 words/2,000 characters (including spaces). We will not accept anything discriminatory or racist. The final editorial decision sits with Rabbi Charley Baginsky.
