The next LJ@120 Open House Shabbat will take place this Saturday (2 April) at East London & Essex Liberal Synagogue (ELELS).
The Open House Shabbat initiative sees each Liberal Judaism congregation hold at least one Shabbat during the year, to celebrate our movement’s 120th anniversary, for which they will open their doors – whether in-person, online or both – to the rest of the Liberal Jewish world and beyond.
The ELELS service will be their groundbreaking Shabbat Shelanu – an inclusive morning service designed to be accessible and sensitive to a variety of needs.
Please join us to celebrate Shabbat through music, multi-sensory experiences and prayer. The service is open to the everyone (both members and non-members of Liberal Judaism) and all ages are welcome.
During kiddush, there will be a Q&A with Rabbi Richard Jacobi about the style and methods of this service.
There are a limited number of in-person places available. Click here to book.
Or email administrator@elels.org.uk to take part on Zoom.
We look forward to welcoming you.
