The Ark Synagogue are hosting a special event at 6.30pm tonight (Monday) with Anna Turns, the author of Go Toxic Free: Easy and Sustainable Ways to Reduce Chemical Pollution.

Go Toxic Free is a vital guide to help us all make important changes to our lifestyles and consumption to help reduce the devastating impact of chemical pollution.

Anna is an environmental journalist and activist, specialising in sustainability issues, with 20 years’ experience working in the media. Equally as importantly, she is a proud Liberal Jew.

The Ark’s Rabbi Aaron Goldstein said: “Please do not pass up this special opportunity to be inspired by Anna. This is definitely one to experience with your children, grandchildren, nieces and/or nephews.

“Anna will be speaking about her background as a Liberal Jew – growing up through Bedfordshire Progressive Synagogue and LJY-Netzer – and its influence on her work today.

“She will also tell us about her new book that provides ways each one of us can make small differences to sustainability.”
