London Mayor Sadiq Khan joined Liberal Judaism’s senior rabbi, Rabbi Danny Rich, officer Jane Drapkin and social justice worker Charlotte Fischer (not pictured) to speak about our movement’s social action.

The Mayor stopped by to chat while the three were at City Hall discussing Liberal Judaism’s community organising work.

He praised the most recent Citizens UK Assembly – where member institutions seek public commitments on social justice from politicians – which he attended and a number of Liberal communities took part in.

Rabbi Danny Rich said: “Social justice is at the heart of Liberal Judaism as we continue to strive to give voice to people who feel powerless, isolated or exploited, through our campaigning and community organising work with Citizens UK.

“To have the Mayor of London show his support for this, along with politicians from all parties and parts of the country, gives everyone a real boost.”
