LJY-Netzer is delighted to announce the details of this summer’s Israel Tour and Kayitz Tzuf Europe Tour.
LJY-Netzer’s Israel Tour, which begins on 14 July, is a trip down the length and breadth one of the most fascinating and complicated countries on the planet for those in school year 11.
Explore your Jewish identity while riding camels and rafting down the Jordan River. Visit the beach in Tel Aviv, the Old City in Jerusalem and the Bahai Gardens in Haifa. And, above all, meet amazing and inspirational people from every corner of Israeli society.
Israel Tour is a once in a lifetime chance to celebrate your success and effort with friends old and new. Whether you’ve been in LJY since you were eight years old, or you’ve never attended before, all are welcome on Israel Tour.
Kayitz Tzuf will take place between 30 July and 8 August and gives those in in school year 12 the opportunity to travel around Europe learning and experiencing the Jewish Diaspora story. The tour will take in three countries – Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia and Austria.
Your adventure will start in Sarajevo, where you will explore the leading cultural centre of the Balkans, which boasts a rich history of religious and cultural diversity.
The next stop is Split, where Shabbat will be spent hiking in the natural lakes, visiting royal palaces and hanging out with friends on the beach.
Kayitz Tzuf then ends in beautiful Vienna, where sites include St Stephen’s Cathedral and the Reform Synagogue. In the evening you will wander the exciting streets of the city and discover the thrills of the Vienna Fun Fair.
Israel Tour costs £3,200 for members (£3,300 for non-members). Kayitz Tzuf costs £1,490. These prices include all expenses such as flights, programming, accommodation, food, travel insurance, basic health insurance and more.
