Leo Baeck College has produced a new short film celebrating LGBT+ History Month 2025. The video captures the voices, experiences and journeys of some of LBC’s alums and rabbinic colleagues – speaking openly about the challenges they have faced and how society and Judaism has changed.

They also discuss the incredible influence of pioneers Rabbi Lionel Blue z”l – Britain’s first openly gay rabbi – and Rabbi Elli Tikvah Sarah and Rabbi Sheila Shulman z”l, the first openly lesbian rabbis ordained by LBC.
