SAVE THE DATE: Please join us online from 8.30pm-10pm on Monday 12 August as we mark Tisha B’Av, the day of mourning for the destruction and disasters that have taken place across Jewish history.

We will reflect both on the tragedies of the past and the most recent of 7th October and its aftermath.

Open to all members, this Progressive Judaism commemoration will include a shiur (study session) on Eichah – the Book of Lamentations – given by Leo Baeck College Principal Rabbi Dr Deborah Kahn-Harris.

This will be followed by the chanting of Eichah and you are invited to write, submit and read your own kinah (elegy or lament) inspired by the language and imagery of one of the chapters.
