Rabbis Charley Baginsky and Josh Levy (pictured) – the Co-Leads of Progressive Judaism – have joined the Advisory Board of Global Jewry.

Global Jewry is a grassroots initiative, made up of more than 190 partner organisations around the world.

Its mission is to strengthen the bonds that unite the Jewish people by creating a global platform where Jews of all ages, all backgrounds and all perspectives can join together in a welcoming and respectful environment to celebrate our shared values, explore our shared history and chart our shared future.

Sandy Cardin, the Founder of Global Jewry, said: “Since the heinous and barbaric terrorist attack by Hamas on 7 October, the unity of the Jewish people has never been a higher priority.

“British Progressive Judaism has always answered positively when the Jewish people call, and have done so again. I am delighted that Rabbis Josh Levy and Charley Baginsky will serve on our Advisory Board as we seek to work together to navigate the grave challenges ahead.”
