Jami’s Mental Health Shabbat takes place on 19–20 January and is an opportunity for the entire Jewish community to focus on mental health, raise awareness of mental distress and share ideas on how to support ourselves and each other.here.
Liberal Judaism and the Movement for Reform Judaism are long term supporters of Jami and their important work in this area – and encourage all communities to do something to mark Mental Health Shabbat. To help, this year Jami are providing not only their usual Mental Health Shabbat toolkit – offering everything from sermons to youth activities – but also a new guide to help you host a Jami Shabbat meal and spend quality time connecting with family and friends.
