Eternal God, whose dominion is everlasting.

Bless now Charles, our King together with Camilla, his Queen consort, and all the Royal family as they face the sad and challenging days of change ahead. May you be with them as they mourn and inspire courage and resilience in our new Monarch.

Guide him and all those who govern our country with a spirit of wisdom and compassion. We pray that King Charles should have the strength and humility to carry forward Elizabeth’s legacy and ensure his reign will prove to be a source of kindness and hope to all of differing faiths.

May we be reminded of our roles as citizens to work together for peace, justice and parity in our land and care for our neighbours and strangers alike.

And let us say Amen.
