This Thursday (26 May) night at 8pm, we will be holding a Day of Celebration bonus session via Zoom.

We will be joined by Rabbi Lea Mühlstein – one of the senior rabbis of The Ark Synagogue and the International Chair of Arzenu – who will deliver a session entitled This is (not) the way: Liberal Religious Zionism – an oxymoron?

In this session, Lea will lead an exploration of the relationship between Liberal Judaism and Zionism. It will ask how, from the advent of Liberal Judaism 120 years ago until today, our relationship to Zionism and Israel has changed?

It will also examine what it means to be a Liberal Religious Zionist and ask how does Zionism fit in with our Liberal Jewish theology and values?
