Liberal Judaism is delighted to support the ONE Shabbat for Small Communities, being run by the Jewish Small Communities Network (JSCN).

Taking place on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 September, it will give individuals and small communities around the UK the chance to come together and share Shabbat. Elements will include:

Friday Kabbalat Shabbat
Join in the JSCN musical Kabbalat Shabbat, or there will be a specially commissioned piece that can be used as part of your own local service too.

Friday Night Dinner
Decorate your Shabbat table with things from the ONE Shabbat goodie-bag – whether it’s just you, or if you are with family or community – take a photo of your table and send it in to form part of a picture window.

Saturday Shabbat Morning Service
Every community can use another special commissioned piece to include in their Shabbat Service.

Saturday Night Havdalah
A very special Havdalah includes participation live from Israel and contributions from communities all over the UK. You’ll be sent things you can include in your local Havdalah too.
