Jami Mental Health Shabbat

Liberal Judaism is proud to support Jami’s 5th annual Mental Health Awareness Shabbat (MHAS), which is taking place this weekend.

Living through the ongoing pandemic has affected us all. Mental Health Awareness Shabbat is an opportunity for the entire community to focus on this vital issue.

Liberal Judaism’s Chief Executive Officer, Rabbi Charley Baginsky, has recorded a special sermon for Mental Health Awareness Shabbat. You can watch it here.

Charley said: “This Shabbat is an opportunity to focus our minds on looking after our own mental health, being sensitive to the mental health of others and raising awareness of mental health and illness in the local and wider community.

“This year, more than ever, in the midst of a pandemic, this is a pressing need.”

You can download the MHAS Toolkit and view Jami’s programme of events here.
