Comedian Philip Simon has joined the line up of talent at Liberal Judaism’s Last Night Chanukah Party this Thursday (17 December) at 7.15pm.
Philip is an award-winning stand up and one of the most sought after comperes and opening/closing acts working on the comedy circuit today. He is also an actor, voiceover artist and the co-host of the new podcast Jew Talkin’ To Me.
He will feature as part a special talent show that will take place during the event, alongside acrobats, poets, singers and musicians.
Other highlights of the party will see a movement-wide Chanukah lighting and our communities singing their renditions of Maoz Tzur.
We will also be honouring the members of the Liberal community who have lit up our lives in this difficult year, as part of our new LJ Lights celebration.
Simply use this form to nominate anyone who has brought you light this year, whether through their work, their support or just by being a wonderful member of the congregation.
Liberal Judaism’s Last Chanukah Night Party will be hosted by BBC Three Counties Radio star Toby Friedner and broadcast live on the Liberal Judaism YouTube, Facebook and Twitter channels. The best way to watch is via Facebook, where you can comment and contribute as the party proceeds.
- We will be fundraising for Liberal Judaism at the Chanukah party and, as always, your support is very welcome! You can donate by clicking here.
