Limmud has launched a new Webinar Series with the first set to take place on Sunday 15 March at 5pm (UK time).

The cross-communal volunteer-led organisation is teaming up with HIAS Europe – a global Jewish humanitarian NGO – to offer an interactive webinar on the topic of refugees.

HIAS’ Europe director Ilan Cohn will lead the webinar. Ilan will discuss the International Refugee Shabbat project, as well as HIAS’ fantastic resources that facilitate Jewish learning about the global refugee crisis.

In addition to being an interactive resource on how to organise events with refugees or around a refugee theme, those taking part in the webinar are also invited to join a discussion about a response to the “stranger” in our communities and the limits of our responsibility.
