Liberal Judaism will have a large presence once more at this year’s Limmud Festival – with our rabbis, student rabbis, officers, staff, community chairs and members presenting sessions on all manner of topics.
From Rabbi Dr Margaret Jacobi looking at what trees and humans have in common to Liberal Judaism officer Robin Moss examining the pessimistic predictions of the early Zionists, there really is something for everyone.
Topics being given a Liberal view include empowering future leaders, freedom of the pulpit, the First World War, literary speed dating, the religious duty to vaccinate your children, Esther in the court of Ahasuerus and how we can teach the next generation to love being Jewish.
In total there are 25 sessions with Liberal Jewish presenters or co-presenters running through each and every day of Limmud.
Limmud Festival will take place from Sunday 22 until Thursday 26 December in Birmingham. It will feature hundreds of sessions and thousands of participants from around the UK and across the world.
