The dates for LJY-Netzer’s Machaneh Aviv have changed so that the spring camp will now include Shabbat.
The camp will take place from Tuesday 14 to Sunday 19 April, after overwhelming feedback from LJY-Netzer members and their parents that Shabbat on camp is a very special time and the highlight of Aviv for many.
Movement worker Fran Kurlansky said: “Shabbat is the time that the whole camp unites as one community to pray together, sing together, eat together and do nice things for each other. It is the moment of the week in which we get a taste of redemption and what the world could be.
“As movement workers we are delighted that we have been able to change the dates for this year’s Aviv so we will once again get to experience such special moments.”
LJY-Netzer’s annual spring camp provides a brilliant environment for everyone in school years 3-10 to have fun, personally develop and find themselves welcomed into a special community with friends they’ll make for life.
A typical day on Aviv will see you playing crazy games, heading off to the art room, nipping for a swim in the swimming pool and taking part in creative and engaging services. There are so many fun activities you won’t know how we fit it all in.
