The Jewish News is asking for nominations as it seeks to identify the top young leaders in Anglo-Jewry.
The newspaper is compiling ‘40 under 40’, ‘25 under 25’ and ‘18 under 18’ lists to showcase the many young Jews doing amazing work up and down the country.
The judging panel is drawn from all sections of the British Jewish community to ensure fairness and balance in the final lists.
Chair of judges Andrew Gilbert said: “While the lists are fun they are also important in giving recognition, telling stories and highlighting trends. I am looking forward to these lists, receiving the nominations, the process and the excitement and speculation over the results.”
Liberal Judaism’s senior rabbi, Rabbi Danny Rich, added: “I encourage all Liberal Jews to think long and hard about the young people in our congregations whose work should be highlighted – whether within their home community, our national movement or wider society – and ensure that you nominate them.”
