Liberal Judaism offering Limmud subsidy for young adults

22 July 2019 – 19 Tammuz 5779

21 June 2019

Liberal Judaism is delighted to once again offer a subsidy for young Liberal Jews (aged 18-30) registering for this year’s Limmud Festival as a Yad or in any other volunteering role.

Limmud’s Yad Scheme gives those attending the Festival the chance to make a meaningful contribution by volunteering for a total of 16 hours (4-5 hours day). It also provides opportunities for young adults to meet each other for social events and exclusive extras throughout the Festival, while also leaving plenty of time for them to explore the wider programme.

As well as the substantial discount Limmud offers all those on the Yad Scheme, Liberal Judaism will give a further subsidy of £50.

All you need to do is fill in our form at http://bit.ly/LimmudSubsidy2019 then write a short post-event report. The subsidy will be paid in January after we receive your report.

Limmud Festival 2019 takes place from Sunday 22 to Thursday 26 December in Birmingham. With hundreds of sessions and thousands of participants, it is a cross-communal extravaganza of Jewish learning, community and friendship.

  • Liberal Judaism is able to offer this subsidy thanks to the generosity of the NLPS Trust.
