Liberal Judaism will be hosting a panel discussion on ‘Labour and Antisemitism’, as the first in a new series of dialogue events entitled ‘Liberal Judaism’s Hot Potatoes’.
The aim of the series is to cover some of the most hotly debated issues within the Jewish community, while aiming to create a safe space where all views are heard and there is more debate than judgement.
The first event, which will look in detail at the current problems with antisemitism within the Labour Party, will take place from 6.30pm on Thursday 21 February at the Montagu Centre, Liberal Judaism’s head office in central London.
The panel will be chaired by BBC reporter Callum May. It will include human rights barrister Adam Wagner, former Labour councillor Adam Langleben, Young Labour chair Miriam Mirwitch, former chair of the Jewish Labour Movement Ella Rose and journalist Michael Segalov.
Tickets are very limited, so booking in advance is essential. Tickets cost £5 to cover costs including refreshments.
