The Lyons Learning Project has announced its range of exciting Melton learning courses for the rest of 2018.
Melton is one of the most important pluralist adult Jewish offerings in the world and is now offered in the heart of London at Lyons, in partnership with Liberal Judaism. Courses run at the West London (Reform) Synagogue, which is located near Marble Arch.
The four courses, which will begin just after Rosh Hashanah and run through to the end of the year, are:
Sister Suffragette: Discover the Jewish contribution to the suffrage movement in Britain with Rabbi Sybil Sheridan (Wednesdays 3, 10 and 17 October at 7pm)
Images of God: Where the Book of Genesis and Philosophy Meet with Professor Andrew Benjamin (Mondays 5, 12, 19 and 26 November at 7pm)
My Jewish London: Telling my story through images and texts… and avoiding the stereotypes with Searle Kochberg (Wednesdays 26 September, 7 November and 5 December at 7pm)
Talmud: Join the Greatest Jewish Text Conversation with Rabbi Neil Janes (Wednesdays 5, 12 September and 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 October at 7pm)
