18 July 2018
LJY-Netzer, the youth movement of Liberal Judaism, is proud to announce its fantastic new movement worker team for 2018/19.
Ellie Lawson (pictured centre) is staying on after a very successful year of movement work, and will be joined by Ben Combe (right) and Helen Goldhill (left).
Together they represent the diversity of our movement’s communities. Ellie is a member of The Liberal Jewish Synagogue, Liberal Judaism’s founding and largest synagogue based in St Johns Wood. Helen is part of our medium sized Brighton & Hove Progressive Synagogue, while Ben was brought in up at the small Bedfordshire Progressive Synagogue community.
Looking ahead to the next year, Ben said: “Our hopes are for an even stronger, better connected youth movement that challenges itself and the Jewish community as a whole to do and be better.”
The change of movement workers will take place at the end of the summer, with Hannah Stephenson and Simon Lovick saying a fond farewell.
For full interviews with the new movement workers, please see the next issue of LJ Today – out towards the middle of August.
