20 March 2018
The Alliance for Progressive Judaism’s Israel Desk is proud to present the latest event in its ‘Israel at 70: Conversations on Progressive Israel’ series.
Taking place at Northwood & Pinner Liberal Synagogue tomorrow (March 21), the session will be led by two of the world’s leading second generation rabbis – Liberal Judaism’s Rabbi Aaron Goldstein and Rabbi Oded Mazor, teacher and head of UK relations at The Leo Baeck Education Center in Haifa.
Entitled ‘Shared Existence and Progressive Rabbinic Legacy’, the conversation will focus on sharing experiences and loving our neighbours regardless of their religion, mother tongue, race, or cultural background.
The two rabbis will also talk about their own personal stories, and why they decided to follow their fathers into the Progressive rabbinate.
Starting at 7.30pm, people can either attend in person at Northwood & Pinner Liberal Synagogue or join in live online via Zoom or on the phone.
To register for the event with Zoom, please click here and then enter the WEB ID: 657-138-724.
If you wish to attend in person or via the phone, or want to take part online but are unable to register, then please call the Israel Desk’s Carrie Shaw on 020 7580 1663 or email israeldesk@apuk.org.
