Nominations for Liberal Judaism’s Chair’s Awards are now open – and we want you to put forward your community’s heroes and stalwarts.

The awards are presented every two years, at Liberal Judaism’s Biennial Weekend, to those within our communities who are doing wonderful work to support the values and principles of Liberal Judaism.

Nominees should have served the movement at either a national or a local level, winning respect, affection and admiration.

To submit a nomination, catch up on past Chair’s Awards winners (including our 2016 recipients, pictured) or view the nomination criteria, please click here.

A specially selected panel, with the support of Liberal Judaism’s chair Simon Benscher, will select the winners.

Simon said: “This is our chance to really celebrate and honour those do wonderful work in our communities, often behind the scenes and without fanfare. I can’t wait to see all the wonderful nominations and celebrate with our winners at the Biennial.”

The deadline to submit nominations is Monday 30 April. The Liberal Judaism 2018 Biennial Weekend takes place from 29 June – 1 July with the theme ‘Liberal Judaism: The Formula for Truly Progressive Judaism’. To find out more about the event, and book your tickets, please click here.
