Do you want to know what the Mishnah has to say on all manner of topics from marriage and divorce to crime and punishment? How about the original rabbinic laws on working on Shabbat or prayer and sacrifice?

Then join Liberal Judaism’s monthly Tuesday lunchtime Mishnah study sessions, held on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 12-2pm.

The next session is taking place next week (Tuesday 24 October) at Liberal Judaism’s head office – The Montagu Centre, 21 Maple St, London, W1T 4BE.

The course will offer an introduction to Rabbinic literature, focusing on the Mishnah edited by Rabbi Yehudah HaNasi in 200 CE, and will be led by Rabbis Danny Rich and Neil Janes.

Danny is the senior rabbi and chief executive of Liberal Judaism. Neil is part of the rabbinic team at West London Synagogue, executive director of the Lyons Learning Project and a lecturer at Leo Baeck College.

People can attend all sessions, or just one. They are completely free. Please bring your own vegetarian or fish lunch.
