I am not privy to the inner workings of the Sephardi community in the United Kingdom but I am always saddened when decent people and enlightened teachers are harassed by populist petitions.

In his relative short tenure here Rabbi Joseph Dweck has proved to be an inspired and inspiring addition to the leadership of British Jewry.

I hope we shall hear more of his learning.
