Liberal Judaism members and friends are invited to Shabbat Resouled’s 10th birthday party on the third Friday of April at Finchley Progressive Synagogue (FPS).

The band was formed in 2007 with the combined talents of Dean Staker and Rabbi Neil Janes, along with a bunch of the most wonderful musicians.

Since then, Shabbat Resouled has welcomed Shabbat on the third Friday of each month at FPS – creating a musical tradition that has been enjoyed by thousands. The band has also performed at other Liberal communities around the UK, as well as Limmud and the Liberal Judaism Biennial Weekend.

Josie Kinchin, honorary secretary of FPS, said: “On the third Friday of April, that’s the 21st, we are delighted to invite you to Shabbat Resouled’s 10th birthday party!

“We are hoping that many of the original musicians will join us to see the evolution of the band and we’re also in the process of organising an Oneg/Chavurah Supper following the service.”
