Members at South London Liberal Synagogue (SLLS) are planning two events to say goodbye to Rabbi Janet Darley, who is retiring this summer after seven years serving the community.
The first event is a family Shabbat service on June 18, the last day of Gesher, where the congregation’s young people will play a key role.
The second will be a Civic Service on Saturday July 23, where Rabbi Janet’s contribution to SLLS will be formerly marked. Guests will include representatives from Liberal Judaism and cross-community organisations with whom she has been involved.
Members of Liberal Judaism, and the wider community, are invited to attend these events and celebrate with Rabbi Janet and the community. For more details, please email office@southlondon.org
