Rabbi Danny Rich, the senior rabbi of Liberal Judaism, was part of a group of rabbis and imams presenting a birthday card for The Queen at St James’s Palace.
The special card, written by a calligrapher, was organised by the Joseph Interfaith Foundation’s National Council of Imams & Rabbis – the only such council of senior religious leaders representing Jewish and Muslim communities in the UK.
The card was received officially at the Palace by Bishop Newcome, Bishop to the Monarch, and The Rev Canon Paul Wright, Sub-Dean of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal.
The card was shown to The Queen by Bishop Newcome and will now be kept in the Royal Archive.
