It’s time to book your tickets for an exciting new Jewish ‘Meeting of Minds’ extravaganza in Birmingham.
Limmud Birmingham WM takes place on Sunday July 10, 2016, and will once again offer delegates a wonderful chance to enjoy all the wonders of Jewish culture and learning, as well as engaging with visitors from other wide-reaching communities.
This ground-breaking regional gathering will take place in the education centre at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital from 10am to 6pm. Registrations open at 9am.
Delegates will discover the delights of Judaism with presentations given by many prominent figures, casting their light on a wide-ranging number of absorbing issues. Rabbi Dr Margaret Jacobi, of Birmingham Progressive Synagogue and BPS member and surgeon, David Gourevitch, will lead a discussion on end of life issues. They will also take part in hour-long sessions running throughout the day.
Cultural treats will include a performance by the acclaimed Kol Kinor Choir and, to close the proceedings, a concert led by gifted violinist Rabbi Lior Kaminetsky,
